Abstract Article on Manzanita Hall pubished in The Palo Alto Times two years after the School opened. Describes MH as the "leading preparatory school for boys" for entry to Stanford University. The primary school (one of very few references to there initially being a program for younger boys) has been discontinued to make room for expansion of the "advanced department." Abstract

Palo Alto Times Article describing (contrator?) George W. Mosher bagan work on Hough Hall, a 15-room building including classrooms, office, and hall.The upper story includes a "suite of rooms for assistant principal (unnamed) and rooms for students. This nearly doubles the present capacity of the school. Includes cost and room sizes. "Will be ready for occupancy about September 1st."
