Includes news clippings and book excerpts about the general history of the school, as well as Molly Nichols’ hand-written notes about the history of the school, ca. 1970. Contains a series of 32 flash cards, from Molly Nichols’ history file, about many staff members and founders of the school. Also contains a postcard picturing the school in 1912. News clippings about the 50th anniversary in 1952 are in a separate file, which also includes reminiscences of an alumna about the school. Clippings of specific historical events such as the 1959 article documenting Major Nichols’ purchase of the school, are in a third folder. Also includes a full-sized photocopy of article “Miss Harker’s prepares women for Stanford”, San Jose News, December 31, 1976.
